Customer Service Specialist

Dash Platform, a DaySmart company, is a SaaS-based commercial software business that builds and implements COTS software for Sports Facilities with Turf & Court and Ice surfaces; for the Municipal Parks and Recreation market; and for the Non-Profit Organizations market. Dash was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. It is important to note that Dash Platform began as the internal IT software provider for Arena Sports. Arena Sports has 5 indoor sports facilities that offer a wide variety of programs including leagues, classes, camps, swimming, fitness, and events. The software that runs Arena Sports and all of our customers provides full functionality for all back-office, customer-facing, program management, POS, scheduling, and administration. Dash has earned our industry-leading reputation by helping our customers achieve operations and financial efficiency and results while also helping them grow their business by acquiring and retaining customers. Dash is now a part of the DaySmart Software Family.

 

This employee will be part of the Dash Customer Service team. This team delivers all customer-facing services including On-boarding; Implementation and Training; Product Testing; and Customer Support.  Our belief is that our Customer Service team earns our reputation with our customers every day based on the quality we deliver. The ideal candidate will have robust customer service experience and an aptitude for building great customer relationships.  

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Customer Service Specialist (CSS) supports and instructs customers on the usability and functionality of the Dash software platform.  In doing so, the CSS is responsible for providing product and industry expertise, solving problems related to workflow and business process and customer support to members, customers, and/or providers that relate to a customer's use of Dash.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Constantly meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards
  • Respond to complex customer calls
  • Resolve customer service inquiries

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES

  • Achieves assigned Service Level Agreements to customers
  • Maintains level of high customer satisfaction 
  • Meets and extends service requirements

 

ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT

  • Reports to the Customer Service Leader
  • Works closely and collaboratively with the sales and development teams

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Familiarity with Web Technologies and the Internet
  • Experience working directly with customers to resolve issues
  • Proficiency in MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Ability to summarize technical customer issues into notes that are readable by other parties
  •  Ability to work weekends and/or evenings, if needed
  • Familiarity with CRM or Ticketing systems

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in Technical Support
  • A drive to dig into the details of a system or process to solve customer problems
  • Some college experience in a technical field
  • Excitement to learn new technologies and help customers succeed
  • Proven success in a fast-paced support environment
  • Experience building or hosting a website
  • Known as the go-to person in your family for technology-related questions
  • Strong technical supportability and aptitude in a distributed computing environment, which also includes supporting end-user desktop applications and tools
  • Software testing
  • Technical writing skills

 

ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This position includes some outside travel.
  • This position works remotely and/or out of our Bellevue office.
