Systems Analyst needed to perform administrative duties and consult on the current state of various IT system(s) and provide data-driven advice on how to expand or refine operations to meet company needs. The Systems Analyst will collect data, observe workflows, and monitor system activity to identify vulnerabilities or areas of improvement. They communicate their findings to company leaders and help them compromise their needs and resources. The Systems Analyst will promote a culture of alignment and enablement that allows team members to self-service the implementation of new systems and procedures.


  • Administer and monitor Splunk environment across all environments
    • Plan, deploy and document architecture components, monitoring & alerting setup, troubleshooting guides
    • Onboarding new data as well as new customers to Spunk. Work with new customers to ensure they are getting the most out of the data and help design new applications for their specific use.
    • Test new versions and components in QA environment for promotion into Production
    • Mentoring other engineers within the organization on the capabilities and technical knowledge of the Splunk environment.
  • Administer and monitor New Relic implementation across all environments
    • Plan, deploy and document architecture components, monitoring & alerting setup, troubleshooting guides
    • Establish standards for application monitoring that should be followed by engineers
    • Mentoring other engineers within the organization on the technical capabilities of New Relic


  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field of or relevant work experience in computer-related industry.
  • Knowledge of technology, network, data and applications architectures.
  • Proficiency in use of desktop-based productivity applications.
  • Superior communication skills required.
  • Requires analytical and design ability, high degree of attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of the business implications of technical approaches, directions, and solutions.

Nice to have:

  • Experience using or supporting centralized logging infrastructure
  • Experience using or supporting application performance monitoring (APM) tools
  • Experience with virtual technology, such as VMWare ESX and/or AWS EC2
  • Experience with OS environment running one or more databases including MariaDB, MSSQL or Oracle
  • Previous application development coding, debugging, testing and delivery into a production environment are highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of compute performance metrics and tools is highly desirable
